Online training works best when it's matched to how much support you actually want. Some people thrive following a structured program independently. Others want ongoing coaching support and accountability. And some want the experience of one-on-one personal training, just delivered via video call. We offer all three.
Tier 1: Independent Athlete Programs
$15 USD per program · One-off payment
Browse our full library of professionally designed training programs on the Fortified Body Gym TrainHeroic Marketplace and pick whichever suits your goals. Programs range from 4 to 6 weeks and cover strength, hypertrophy, and endurance — across beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. Buy as many as you like over time.
Each program includes structured progression, clear instructions, exercise demonstrations, and progress tracking through TrainHeroic. Pay once and the program is yours forever, no subscriptions, no recurring fees, no expiry.
This option is best for: experienced trainers who can self-direct, people who want professional programming without ongoing support, or anyone wanting to try our coaching style before committing to a subscription.
A note on pricing: Programs are sold in US dollars through TrainHeroic's global marketplace. Australian buyers will be charged the AUD equivalent at the current exchange rate.
Tier 2: Guided Coaching
$120 AUD per month · $30 per week
For people who want real coaching support without committing to live sessions, Guided Coaching delivers a fully customised monthly program plus ongoing access to your coach. This is the sweet spot for most online clients, proper programming, real accountability, real responsiveness, at a fraction of the cost of in-person PT.
What's included every month:
A fully customised training program tailored to your goals, experience, and equipment, written by your coach and updated each month with progressive overload built in
Daily message access with your coach through TrainHeroic, ask questions, share wins, troubleshoot any session
Regular check-ins to review how the previous week went and adjust the program for the weeks ahead
Video review of any lift you submit, record yourself, send it through, and get specific technique feedback
Program adjustments based on how you're actually progressing, not what looks good on paper
Commitment and cancellation: Subscription is paid monthly upfront and you can cancel anytime before your next month's program is delivered. Once a program is delivered, it's yours to keep and complete, no partial refunds, but no ongoing commitment beyond the month you've paid for.
This option is best for: members who want ongoing expert coaching but train solo, people who've outgrown generic templates, or anyone who values having a coach in their corner without the cost of full PT.
A recommendation worth following: for new Guided Coaching subscribers in Sydney, we genuinely recommend starting with one in-person PT session at the gym. It gives your coach a real read on your movement, identifies any technique issues to focus on, and sets the foundation for everything you'll do online. We also recommend periodic "back to base" PT sessions every few months, not required, but the best way to keep technique sharp.
Tier 3: Virtual Personal Training

Virtual Personal Training is exactly what it sounds like, a full one-on-one PT session with your Fortified Body coach, delivered live via Zoom or WhatsApp. Same coaching, same coaching standard, same pricing, without the geography. It's the strongest option for people who want real-time coaching from anywhere.
How it works:
Choose your preferred platform, Zoom or WhatsApp video, whatever is easiest for you
Sessions are 30, 45, or 60 minutes, same as our in-person personal training
Your coach is fully present for the entire session, coaching cues in real-time, watching your technique, calling out adjustments, and answering questions as they come up
Sessions are booked into set gym hours and arranged directly with your coach so you get the time that suits you both
Plus: video review of any lift you submit between sessions is included
What you need to make it work:
A home gym with weights is ideal, barbell, plates, dumbbells, rack
A commercial gym setup also works well
Resistance bands alone can work for technique and conditioning, but training results are limited compared to weighted training
Stable internet connection and a phone or laptop where you can prop the camera so the coach can see you train
This option is best for: people with a home gym wanting expert coaching, gym members who want real coaching during their commercial gym sessions, returning members who've moved away, or anyone who wants the personal training experience without being in our space.
Same recommendation as Guided Coaching: if you're local, we genuinely recommend starting with an in-person session and revisiting periodically. Live virtual coaching is exceptional, but nothing fully replaces being in the same room every once in a while.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be experienced to do online training?
No. We have beginner-level programs in the Independent Athlete marketplace, and Guided Coaching and Virtual PT are both designed to scale to any starting point. If you're brand new to training, Virtual PT is often the best entry point because you get real-time technique coaching from day one.
Can I train at home without much equipment?
The honest answer: it depends on which tier you choose and what you have. Independent Athlete programs are designed for typical gym or home gym setups (barbells, dumbbells, racks). Guided Coaching can be programmed around whatever equipment you have available, including limited home setups. Virtual PT works best with weights, can work in a commercial gym, and can technically be done with resistance bands, though band-only training has real limits in terms of strength results.
What's the difference between Guided Coaching and Virtual PT?
The main difference is whether your coach is on the call with you or not.
Guided Coaching is more independent. You get a written monthly program and train on your own schedule. Your coach is available throughout the week, daily message access, weekly check-ins, video reviews of lifts you send, but they're not present during your actual training sessions. It works brilliantly for people who can self-direct and want real coaching support without paying for live time.
Virtual PT is hands-on coaching. You're on a live video call with your coach for the entire session, they're watching your technique, cueing every lift in real-time, calling out adjustments, and answering questions as they come up. It's the same experience as in-person personal training, just over Zoom or WhatsApp.
The simple way to choose: if you want a coach available throughout the week but you're confident training alone, go with Guided Coaching. If you want a coach in the session with you, every session, go with Virtual PT.
Can I switch between options?
Yes. Many clients start with Independent Athlete programs to try us out, move into Guided Coaching once they want more support, and add Virtual PT sessions for specific blocks of focused work. The tiers are designed to fit together, not lock you into one path.
Do you recommend in-person training alongside online training?
For Sydney-based clients, yes, at least occasionally. Online coaching has come a long way, but nothing fully replaces a coach being in the same room watching your movement in 3D. A "back to base" PT session every few months keeps your technique sharp and gives your coach a tactile read on how you're moving. It's a recommendation, not a requirement.
How do I cancel Guided Coaching?
Easy. Just message your coach to let them know you'd like to cancel. There's no lock-in, no notice period, and no admin run-around — your subscription simply stops at the end of the month you're in.
The one thing to know: we don't issue refunds for a month that's already been paid for and delivered. But you're never locked into anything beyond your current month.
